A série levou seis dos 14 prêmios em que foi indicada: Melhor Série Drama, Melhor Série Estreante, Melhor Atriz Série Drama (Blake Lively), Melhor Ator Estreante (Chace Crawford), Melhor Atriz Estreante (que novamente foi para Lively) e Melhor Vilão (Ed Westwick).

"Eu sinto como se ainda fosse um adolescente, porque eu estou eternamente no colegial", disse Crawford, 23, nos bastidores.

Apesar da temporada ruim, "Heroes" provou que continua entre as séries favoritas dos adolescentes ao conquistar os prêmios de Melhor Série Ação/Aventura, Melhor Ator Série Ação/Aventura (Milo Ventimiglia) e Melhor Atriz Série Ação/Aventura (Hayden Panettiere).

Os vencedores em outras categorias principais incluem "Uma Família da Pesada" (Melhor Série Animada), "American Idol" (Melhor Reality Show Musical de Competição) e "Hannah Montana" (Melhor Série Comédia).

Exibida pela Fox americana na segunda, a cerimônia de premiação foi assistida por 4,44 milhões de telespectadores, melhor audiência em quatro anos.

No Brasil, o Teen Choice Awards 2008 vai ao ar na quinta, 07 de agosto, a partir das 21h00, no canal E!.
