"High School Musical"

"The O.C." provou no último domingo que continua sendo a série favorita dos adolescentes americanos.

A série levou quatro prêmios do Teen Choice 2006, incluindo os de Melhor Série Drama/Aventura, Melhor Atriz (para Mischa Barton) e Melhor Ator/Atriz Série Drama/Aventura (Adam Brody e Rachel Bilson).

"High School Musical", do Disney Channel, foi eleita a Melhor Série Comédia/Musical, além das categorias de Melhor Ator Estreante (Zac Efron) e Melhor Química (Vanessa Anne Hudgens e Zac Efron).

Nas categorias de atores de comédia, os vencedores foram Vilmer Valderrama ("That '70s Show") e Alexis Bledel ("Gilmore Girls"). Já "Uma Família da Pesada" foi eleita a Melhor Série Animada, enquanto "American Idol" foi escolhido o Melhor Reality Show.

E Ashton Kutcher bateu o recorde ao receber sua 12ª prancha de surfe, o "troféu" do Teen Choice, ao ser eleito a Melhor Personalidade da TV, por seu programa de pegadinhas da MTV "Punk'd".

Exibido ao vivo pela Fox americana, a cerimônia de premiação dos Teen Choice 2006, apresentada pela cantora Jessica Simpson e Dane Cook, foi assistida por 4,7 milhões de telespectadores, audiência 31% maior à do ano passado.
